Here is a recent video exploring a preset called "Alien Hangdrum" in Cypher 2 (from their Dimension Art expander preset pack):

Very interesting hybrid of a percussion instrument with expressive feedback-like sustain. Nice, Jeremy!

Thanks, Roger! It is interesting to combine the percussive sound with a layered melodic element accessible from applying pressure.

Haha... When you can no longer stand the piece you're practicing, that's when you know you're getting somewhere.
Cheers!

Wow. Beautifully played, Max. I’ve added it to the Roger’s Favorites playlist on YouTube.

Max, that's a great, great video. And not of inconsiderable length either. I also just love the feel of your playing, whether the piece is yours or Bach's.

This is not really a video, just a still image with audio but all synth parts were played with the LinnStrument, the track is in spanish and it is a very synth oriented up tempo pop song. The LinnStrument really shines in the solos which are located at the middle and at the ending of the piece.

First time on Linnstrument with a strap) I'm playing two voices of Buchla 259e emulation from Softube Modular - super simple patch, but it creates a really strong impression of a wind instrument, at least in the lower register.

An improvisation using a simple sound in Bitwig Grid and switching between several FX settings (MXXX, Portal and Adaptiverb).

“Three-Legged Race” is a trio piece featuring LinnStrument controlling Mandolin (Orange Tree Samples), Violin (Continuumini), and Zendrum. I used a stock sound for the mandolin (“Buggy Race”) and patch number 1 on the Continuumini.
