T-RackS 5 is a completely separate installation so your T-RackS 4 modules in your projects will be unaffected and you can replace them on your terms as you describe.Skorpius wrote:Peter, I'm not sure if this has been asked before: Will it be possible to install and run TR 5 next to TR 4 and replace the TR 4 modules within the DAW/song one by one?

Seen the plugins on Saturday at IMSTA Festa Berlin.
I really like the resize function. Though the "Shell"/"Route" matrix makes the Fairchild super dark. Maybe a contrast change would solve this.
The metering also looks interesting. But like with the old Meter shell, you're sadly limited to presets. I didn't see a setup for custom settings. At least you can resize this UI now... which is a huge(!) step-up.
Definitely looking forward to the release. I'd love to take a closer look at the new plugins first. The Master Match is not my cup of tea yet, I didn't have a chance to listen to "One", same with Dyna-Mu (updated Fairchild/Gates concept?)... but the new 10-badn EQ (EQual) looks like a useful tool. More so than the rest of the set IMO.
But again.... would love to test them first before I come to a final verdict for myself

Counting the minutes...
I prepaid in the first week of the announcement, so I’ve kind of been a bit antsy since!! Haha!!

I installed the TR5 CS - I own previously dozen TR4 plugins. First impression: disappointment.Skorpius wrote:For those who can't stand to wait any longer: T-Racks 5 Custom Shop can already be downloaded from your account.
And I really have not learned the IK authorization logic, although being the IK customer about 10 years.
E.g. I installed the TRS CS 5 and run the Authorization Manager, as adviced, where I put my TRS CS serial number. The manager said product authorized, but when I try open plugins which I own (=I have the license) in my DAW (Live 9), e.g. Eq73, I get repeated the note "This model has not been activated. Do you wish to enter Custom Shop now to try out or purchase this product".
What the heck is the IK´s logic here? To piss their customers? Can someone kindly elight me.
P.s. And please, don´t give me the advice "create a ticket", because IK won´t answer in 24 h, according to my experience, although that´s what they promise.
I try to be postive, but IK can really be a irritating with all the Custom Shops and other managers, which just make the clients life more difficult + just tax your CPU.

I might be wrong here... but I think you may have jumped the gun . The Custom Shop plugin is available and serials are in our accounts for that.. but the T-racks Max serials aren't showing up yet as expected (the counter is still ticking) . When I authorized the plugin it is the free version that is running the other modules are prompting for payment which makes sense... the product actually hasn't been released yet. At least this is what I think is going on. IF I am wrong I apologize for adding to your frustration. - Scotty
