Geert Bevin post a little video on how to enable MPE controller support in the new Logic Pro for iPad:

I think that video is more to do with enabling MPE for the built in on-screen playing surfaces.

I havent tried MPE with Logic on the iPad myself quite yet. I did search through the manual and found the following references to MPE:

Enabling the on-screen keyboard as per that video.

References to "MIDI Mono Mode (MPE)" for the following synths/Logic features:

EFM1
ES2
Retro Synth
Retro synth also mentions MPE in regards the Ctrl X Source pop-up menu.
Sample Alchemy
Sculpture
Vintage Clav

The manual is rather long and sprawling and in the past Logic has tended to refer to MIDI Mono Mode much more than using the term MPE, so I dont know if they missed any other opportunities to mention it in the manual, or whether I missed any by only searching explicitly for the term MPE.

Yes. I think you are correct. I was confused. Apple's docs refer to MPE as "MIDI Mono Mode" and most (maybe all) MPE-specific settings like pitch bend range are in the individual instruments or plugins.

I still havent really tried Logic Pro on ipad for myself very much yet, but I'm really quite excited about some of the features that the new instrument Sample Alchemy has. I will be trying it soon and am hoping that the features of Sample Alchemy lend themselves really well to expressive MPE.

Hope AAS updates their line of synths such as Chromaphone and String Studio too,

AAS virtual instruments scream to be mpe.
Chromaphone is a fantastic plugin.

Check out Expressive E Imagine. They all but say that it is built on the AAS Chromaphone Engine, and it is MPE capable.

I’m sure this was listed above (I haven’t read all 40+ pages of this thread — mea culpa) but Roli Equator 2 works great with the Linnstrument and has quickly become one of my favorite MPE softsynths.

Have you used Imagine? I can't find anywhere on their site that they claim MPE support, and the manual doesn't mention MPE anywhere.

Yeah and its not in their 'MPE collection' bundle either. I havent used it, but I highly doubt its an MPE synth.

Hi,
It is certainly what you could call a "niche plugin", but MPE is more than a support, that's what it's entirely built on.
Its name is a tribute to LinnStrument, which was my first MPE controller. Alas, its limited Y size made me replace it later with the Sensel Morph...
