Thanks bro! I’ve just gotten back to the chromatic after a long hiatus and I couldn’t resist putting on a track. It’s such a fun axe! At the moment, if I could get away with playing nothing else but the Linn and my harp, I would,
😂

“Nova Prime” was inspired by the combination of LinnStrument/Continuumini and Arturia’s Efx Fragments, a new granular effect. I used a stock string patch on the Continuumini. The video below is for the string part. The bass is OB-E with aftertouch controlling the filter. The drums were played on the Zendrum (controlling MODO Drums).

Killin’ it Jeremy! Love the dark cyberpunkiness of it! Cyberpunkiness? is that a word? 😂

Sound engine is ipad (that also does the mixing and multitracking) and is basicly a sawtooth through a lowpass (synthmaster2), followed by distortion, guitar amp, formant filter (with foot control) and compression.

Nice one, Lars. And definitely the winner of the “most lights” award. :)

Well, that is just how modular stuff looks these days. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I just got the beta of Mawf https://mawf.io - which unfortunately doesn't even support the basic expressive controls PB, AT...
But it has an audio inpu only mode, and when feeding it with an expressively played synth, in my case a Grid patch, it turns into a wonderful organic sounding instrument..
I have to share my short spontaneous impro with that:

A simple version of Amazing Grace on LinnStrument. The synth is a slightly modified version of the "Vintage Synth Intimate Brass" preset on Equator2. I think that my only modification was to turn off the Y expression and "Lift" expression.

Very nice, TigerBalm. I'm only sorry that I can't link to instagram videos from my YouTube playlists.

Here is a short demo of LinnStrument controlling the recently updated Arturia CS80 V4. The new version has MPE. I mapped pressure to the filter and the Y dimension to the speed of the ring modulator. The sound is vastly improved to my ears. My dog Bella wouldn't move so she kept predators away from the LinnStrument.
