Yeah i had/demoed some of the hardware ones, and cannot say that they sounded the same. But found the plugins very interesting nonetheless, even more useful. Still contemplating. Might pick them up if i don't spend too much on Black Friday stuffzvenx wrote: Wed Nov 23, 2022 6:56 pm I love them.
Never had or played the hardware.
I seem to be one of the few who loves them.

I had a Cluster Flux for a while. Great pedal, but I found it hard to get the gain right for the output of my Sub Phatty. I loved to using Oligarc instead, and eventually sold the Sub Phatty too, as I didn’t like the sound as much as I liked my Studio Electronics ATC-X.dionenoid wrote: Wed Nov 23, 2022 11:36 pmYeah i had/demoed some of the hardware ones, and cannot say that they sounded the same. I’m definitely going to pick up the Moogerfooger bundle, though. Not for how far off they are from the pedals, but for the same reasons as you. I really like the sound, especially when driven.

Apparently now you can buy individual Moogerfooger plugins, or bundles of 2 or 4. They're $59, $69 or $79 each depending on the plugin but a bundle of two is $99 and four is $149.

Can you tell which more useful than others in your opinion, please?

My favorite by far is the delay.
I've had fun with the ringmod. I have other options that could cover that ground, but somehow I find myself using it a bit differently in Moogerfooger form.
The filter, phaser, and clusterflux are all good, with some fun tricks but not necessarily unique or essential.
So I could see getting the 4-pack with the delay plus your choice of 3 of the above.
Personally I feel like the Saturator isn't necessary. You can use the drive section on the other modules but set them to fully dry (it still drives the "dry" signal).
And I don't like the MURF at all, it's a goofy gimmick of an effect IMHO. Freqbox isn't really any use to me either.

tried them out and i like pretty much all of them and I agree, the MURF is kind of weird with the couple patterns you can select, seems like a gimmick i agreefoosnark wrote: Thu Mar 02, 2023 10:05 pm My favorite by far is the delay.

other than that i like them, even Freqbox! i was able to turn some drum samples into a fun lead with some automation and autotuning the signal to a scale, but yeah. the ableton sampler actually has the exact same feature. also really like the clusterflux, the rest are also nice but kind of standard fare i guess, but they sound good.
one of the plugins crashed my ableton and kept doing it, but might be cause im using rosetta on a m1 mac, and not the native versions

Plugin Boutique is presently offering the individual Moogerfooger MF-109S - Saturator for $29 with the code PBNL25. I hope that is a sign of discounts to come?
Anyone care to offer an opinion on the Saturator or other favorite individual ones of these MFs?
The other one that appeals to me most without demo is the Ring Mod. I love this video about the hardware MF-102. Kjartan's enthusiasm is so infectuous.

I like the Moogerfooger MF-109S - Saturator. It's crunchy. I'm currently using it on snares. It's way more versatile than that, but I like how it can get dirty quickly vs some other saturators that stay a bit more tame.kidslow wrote: Sat Apr 08, 2023 4:53 pm Plugin Boutique is presently offering the individual Moogerfooger MF-109S - Saturator for $29 with the code PBNL25. Thanks, yeah I need to take the time to demo the entire collection properly, which I don't have now, and so not going to GAS on any individual sale yet ... but good to see them at that $29 price point. The CV features seem like they require hands-on to fully appreciate the possibilities. I would probably bite on the entire collection untested if it ever got down to $99 on sale.

So sad that I have not purchased them during launch sale.
How Moog will discounted them

The saturator is still on sale for $29 on Plugin Boutique through 30th April, if you use the code PBNL25.
