I don't know what you mean, but LinnStrument's hardware permits either a single on/off foot switch or a dual on/off foot switch using a stereo (RTS) jack.

On a different note, is it possible to add Turn off Pitch Bend for X axis movements as an option in the Assign Switch options so that it can be done within a phrase?

It isn't actually another isolated connection. There are a few footswitches that operate a third with the same connections by combining the sleeve to short with tip and ring at same time. It is a common layout for guitar pedal 3 button footswitch expanders. I haven't cracked one open but I think there are diodes involved as well to prevent unwanted triggers . If that's the case I can see why it may not be an option to consider.

No, I'm sorry that will not be supported.

There is no such feature in this update, but there's already a way to do that:
Set MIDI Mode to One Channel. In One Channel mode, pitch slides are automatically disabled whenever more than one note is held, to prevent the sliding note from bending the pitch of both notes. To disable pitch slides immediately in performance, simply hold one note (perhaps the note pad in the lower left corner) while performing the pitch slide on the other note. This will cause the sliding note to step up in semitones. To insure that the second (held) note is not heard, filter it out in your DAW or synth.

Hi! I just updated, and my Ipad with ios 10 no longer supports the Linnstrument. Just to let you know, I'll downgrade for now.

Did you activate low power mode?

I tried to, at least. I will try again tomorrow, will let you know how it turns out. Might be simple as that.
EDIT: I tried the beta again, it did indeed not work, even when I made sure to plug in the LS with the Octave/Transpose button held down. The full version however, works like a charm.

Activating OS Update mode disables Low Power mode, so if you didn't reactivate it explicitly, it will definitely not work with iOS devices.

Thanks for the workaround, but I think it's a little too much preparation for live playing, and also it sacrifices MPE. Switching X-axis pitch bend on and off is one of the operations I perform most, so it would be really handy to have a switch for it - just my user feedback, maybe others don't play that way. Especially stringed instruments can sound more flexible. But I see that you are busy with other stuff at the moment.

I understand and will try to get it in soon. So much work, so little time.

@gbevin Just did another test updating the firmware from the 2.0.0 Release Version to 2.0.0 again and I still get the "cannot retrieve default settings from Linnstrument" Any ideas?

Sadly not, I can't reproduce this anymore on any of my Windows and Mac machines. After the update, are you able to save and load sequencer projects to the computer?

Another idea would be to try the update from a different computer.

@gbevin @rlinn I will try it from another machine. Roger - from the new video it says the labels or a new panel are available to order from the website but I cannot find them anywhere. Do you have a link?
