Yes, MPE would be great. At least MPE pitch control. I use it all the time in Icarus for fancy pitch bends drawn in the piano roll in Ableton Live and Bitwig. (I don't own an MPE controller, but MPE pitch is an incredible tool for songwriting and preprogrammed performance.)

I don't own Nemesis, but I would buy it if it had that feature. :)

(I'm a regular user of Icarus and RayBlaster, though, and I really miss it in RayBlaster.)

I am out here as we do not have a support forum on kvr. If you need something else you'll need to use to the official locations:

I wish you a Happy Easter
Thank you :)
It is a great synth (beside the other synths by you, which I have most of them). I like the enhancements, great update!

Happy Easter to you and to all involved in the making :)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Me too, it is so much more fun…

Thank you for your feedback.
If there is demand for it (also from outside of kvr) I'll do some experiments and see if MPE would work well with the sound engine.

One more vote for MPE from me.
Icarus works great with MPE so I hope it will be possible for Nemesis as well. (And maybe also in the other synths that yet does not have MPE, at some point)
Anyhow, thanks for the update :tu:

I like the “idea” of MPE, but just can’t afford a new keyboard with it. I use a regular aftertouch capable keyboard. I wonder what the percentage is of users that can use MPE?

I don't have an MPE keyboard or any MPE capable controller. I don't plan to ever get one.

I use MPE every single day I make music or SFX. It's an incredible capability.

(This is some nonsense I drew quickly, but it's just to illustrate what you can do.)

I do it all with mouse. No stupid pitch wheel lane. No worrying about notes overlapping. +48/-48 range, always with high precision. Use it for subtle ornaments, or maybe nudging a few cents for adjusting chord intonation (clean up those major thirds!!) or wild FX. Whatever. It's great.

(Icarus and a few other of the other Tone2 synths can also automatically clean up the intonation on chords for you if you enable that feature, but they can't do it if you spread the voicing across multiple synths, so you will still want to use MPE for that!)

A while ago I reported in its own thread here at KVR that the latest Saurus installer tried to install to Icarus3 folder and that was fixed very fast. I noticed the same issue with the Nemesis 3.1 PC installer I was sent by email.

Post

It has already been solved and is fixed in v 3.1.2.
You can use the same link as in the email to download it.

Interesting. I should try that. :)

I used to use aftertouch a bit like you did (editing it in the DAW), until I finally bought new keyboard that had it. I never thought about doing the same with MPE.

Post

I ended up buying it anyway, why not :)

If we get MPE pitch in the future, that's a nice bonus, but I'll enjoy it either way.
