i'd like to have toggle buttons with on and off value..
i mean..
if you hit the area with the pen the button goes on..if you hit the area again the button goes off etc..

another idea...
a kind of VST extension of the Tablet2Midi app...
just a little visualization VST wich shows only the actual control object (fader or xy or button or whatever) being modified in that particualar moment...so it is possible to visualize value changing...
maybe even a transparent version of Tablet2Midi could do the trick

Just a feature request...
It would be great to have this as a vsti, a transparent driver or a Cubase/Nuendo device (Like the mackie control or the Novation SL). Something other than a seperate standalone program that needs to be launched separately every time you want to use it. I think a vst would be the best as it would allow the gui etc, work in multiple hosts and still be saved with the project.

the thing with VST midi plugins is that they only work well in some hosts. In Ableton Live it's impossible, in Traction the plugin can only send midi to one track and so on.
Typing this I had an idea though: The application could run as a VST plugin, with the option to send midi to a loopback device just like the current standalone app. does. Then you'd have the benefit of launching tablet 2 midi with the project automatically / saving the settings in the project files etc.

I've bought T2M and it is now a pleasure to be able to save and work with all the objects, thanks !
I've also noticed that now there is no more values that are sent outside of the green line in freehand objects, which is great
There are also some suggestions (perhaps already asked) :
- the values of XY Pads are sent even if the cursor is otside of the shape from several pixels, which can be a problem when they are put side by side, especially is they are thin (see an example here http://mediasonie.free.fr/temp/keyboard1.t2m )
- a grouping function of objects will be very useful
- when we select a note event, the note number is fixed and the velocity is the variable. It will be intersting to have also the contrary, a fixed velocity and the note number as the variable (so two type of event : note vel and note number ?). Why not, the possibility to have the note number and the note velocity as two events in the same object ?
- the possibility to have only one configuration panel open at a time, perhaps when Control+double click an object the others are closed ? (useful when obects are close or overlap)
- the possibility to send a variable prog change value
... and other things to follow

Tab2Midi is the best purchase I've made in many a moon. Fabulous!
I'd like to have a crosshair option on the XY pads. Somebody else requested crosshairs earlier in this thread, but it occurs to me we might not want the same kind. I want fixed crosshairs that bisect the XY axes, so if I map X or Y to pitchbend, I'll have a visual zero line to refer to. Several other pad emulations have moving crosshairs that follow the cursor, and that's cool, too, but I'd vote for the fixed crosshairs first.

This not its exactly new feature request.
Its just new idea.
Why not create software like tablet to midi, but for touchscreen LCD ?
Something for convert tablet pc, in something like lemour controller!!
I know no have multitouch screen, but anyway can be very usefull controller !!
We can conver any tablet pc, or lcd conected to pc, and build or custom contoller, with visual feedback...........
O hoppe somebody tsart make this soon !!

As far as I can tell I need to make only one simple change to the existing application to make it work with touchscreens: simply add a switch that lets you use the mouse to change values. I never owned a touchscreen, but as far as I know the finger simply moves the mouse cursor right? I could use CAPS-LOCK or some key combination to toggle between edit-mode and play mode.
