Solved it! The simple answer for anyone who wants a perfect PDF to print or use on their computer is to go to this site: http://www.easysw.com/htmldoc/pdf-o-matic.php Enter the URL for the online manual that came with your synth, and the site will create a PDF on your computer in seconds. Just make sure you have Acrobat Reader installed!

Sweeeet! The DX import is the most accurate of any other FM synth I own. Still not 100% accurate but some of those old patches really take me back.........
FM Heaven definately fills a spot in my arsenal. Now to dig up all those other DX/TX81Z .syx files to see what gems might be found that didn't convert well in my other Fm's.
I tried using the freeware LFX-1310 Multi Effect plugin as an effect "module" for FM Heaven. Verrrrrry nice combination.

Tried it, all I get is "This Page uses Frames. Your Browser doesn't support them". Tried Opera nad Internet Explorer.Willabong wrote:Solved it! what morelia said. and it's cool to have such a pdf printer as you can use it with every app on your computer.morelia wrote:I think the PDF converter works as a printer driver. So it is selected from a list of printer ports and creates a pdf instead.
@Teksonik: you have to insert the correct url, not what's in the address bar.

The DX import is pretty accurate - if you have a patch which is close but not quite there, send it through and i'll take a look to see what can be done. The TX import is less convincing and it is actually a bit of a compromise because of the differences in synth architecture between the DX and the TX, but again send anything through which isn't right - my TX81Z is in the rack so I can A/B things pretty easily.Teksonik wrote:Sweeeet! I got mine, and it's even better than I remember from playing with the demo ages ago. It has such a clear sharp sound and pretty easy to use unlike a lot of FM synths. I'm really pleased that a group buy can ressurect a great synth that had probably disappeared off the radar for a lot of people. I hope you make a pile of cash Cesare!

Ahhh thanks, that did the trick. I wondered why the url in the address bar was so "simple". Thanks!R.A.W. wrote: @Teksonik: you have to insert the correct url, not what's in the address bar.
