This may sound terrible mix-wise. I wrote it in the wee hours of this past morning and mixed it using home theater speakers. Before mixing I fired up "The Rover" by Led Zeppelin as a test case to manually adjust the subwoofer output. Once I had that set, I just went for it and mixed like I normally would. Lemme know if it's jacked up because that'll motivate me to get some real monitors in the living room.
Thanks for your time and attention.

I really loved the composition as a whole, the melody and the activeness of the rhythm were very cool. The panning portamento synth stood out kind of strangely in the mix but everything else fit together very tightly. Excellent track, thanks for sharing.

Hey, cool track Shane! Listening on 'phones here, but all sounds good. Like a lot of your stuff it has a nice cinematic vibe to it. Man, The Rover... brings back memories... I remember playing along with the record and learning the solo...

dang mosquito. why do mice eat your post forever when you move the laptop. wacom drivers??
i don't like saying things twice, spoils it, and i'm going to get another bite on my foot.
blah blah blah shane skill, discretion et whatever, various significances and a bunch of oh sod it.
i said something at the end along the lines of "next week: variations on the chainsaw carved grizzly performed on a unicycle" but it's all meaningless now.
watch shane = observe artifice process and a bunch of facets that you'll just have to figure out yourself.
