Thought quite a few of you might be interested in this project of ours here:

http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=71817

DJ/Stage lighting controlled by ANY windows vst host.

High speed USB2 hardware interface and multiple plugins... A full Package.

Full of features like:

Beat detection/sound-to-light.

Crossfading of your lighting at same time as your music (great for ableton live!)

Pattern sequencer

lfo's

fft spectrum analiser

VuMeter effect and more...

Just drop as many plugins as you need on to your tracks and automate using your hosts envelopes. A show beyond the human hand :D

Can have one group of lighting for bass, another for synth, pads, singing / mc'ing or however you would like it.

A lot of plugins are windows or mac only, were only a small company...

May be one day were introduce a mac version to.

Anyway, it's not just for Ableton but for any windows vst host. :)

Forgot to mention, were also be introducing a new media codec like mp3 but superior audio quality and will include your lighting sequences.

Does it respond to MIDI data?

Always thought it would be cool to have a sound-to-light plug that responded to both MIDI and audio.

No, we decided it would be a lot easyer for the producer/artist/dj to use a pattern sequencer so we created one, does a lot more that what could be done just with midi, like can change the release time of the lamps via a midi control which produces a knight rider effect(you know the car's little blue lights at the front). Also strobe effects and color blending.

And it would be hard to remember what each midi command did when you have 512 channels to play with, also theres only 128 notes with midi with velocities from 0 to 127 when dmx goes from 0 to 255.

It's just me playing with the mouse but you can see some of the effects possible. Do check it out and please leave a comment.

Soon be able to, still have to add redo/undo features, and write the manual.
