Hello!

This is a Stereo Piano with the Samples of a Steinway. The Samples are 96Khz 24Bit. The VSTi Size is about 8.5 Mb. There are 6 WavePlayers that create sounds over the whole Pianloroll. It splittes the Midi message to their Tonepitch. Then those Streams Play the six WavePlayers. If enyone is interrested in this system please write me a PM. => System is Bugfree!

Extras:
*) Note Pitch Pan
*) Real Velocity Damp
*) Steinway Sounds

OK but the equipmet is verry expensive (Borrowed it from my father)

Soundcard: Terratec Phase 24FW
Microphone: from a Velodynesub.
hi-fi amplifier: Behringer TubeUltragain MIC200
Programm: Wavelab 5

The Mic was directly at the string of the Steinway. I tuned the Volume of every Sample that the maximum was 75%.

Samplerate: Mono(-6db),96kHz,24Bit

There are six samples in the VSTi: C,c,c',c'',c''',c''''.

Very good, I like the computer piano patch, it's more fake-ish and midrangey. It also seems to be the lowest on cpu, when I do 6-note chords.

like most SM stuff this is way too heavy on the cpu,
18% on a fat dualcore machine? very bad!

i bet this would be better off ..done with SE instead.

just my 2-C-

it uses only so much CPU because of the High Quality (original Samples are in 96kHz,24Bit) The Waveplayer hase to interpolate and that cost CPU.

This is an absolutely stunning and beautiful piano VST. The reverb effect is particularly rich and natural. The CPU usage is a tad high, but I find it hard to complain based on the sound quality.

Thanks for sharing it!

The Reverb is from the SM-Modules. I just skaled the knobs new.

thanks, one can never have enough piano sounds! thanks for sharing.

but lose the reverb, there are some free reverbs that sound better.

Just tried out PSP Pianoverb - what a nice plug-in. A different character than the included reverb for sure.

I'd recommend keeping the existing reverb, though. A long reverb setting in combination with an aggressive lowpass filter just seems to offer up the right subdued sonic quality and character you find in some ambient music like Budd or O'Hearn.

I could easily lose myself in this plug-in.
