Listenned to "Planet X", quite nice , I like the ambience & the "plucked synthetic strings" melody. The drums are all well placed, nothing bad to say about the mix & overall feeling of the tune. I guess you use Wusikstaion for some of the sounds & effects on this track . Bookmarking your website.

Thanks bud. Yeah, all Wusikstation, Drum-Loops and other vocal-samples. I could list'em all if people want. All voices are from LoopMasters Movie thingy using a Vocoder FX. (MDA Talkbox)
You can use the Podcast links too if you got Miro or iTunes. That's a nice way to get new songs right after I put them online.

I hope I can point to this song, and mention the bass part for all of the future digital bass vs. analouge bass arguements on this site, and say, "Uhm hey here's a vsti bassline that sounds pretty good eh?"
I really like this, it reminds me alot of, dare I say some "industrial" type of songs I grew up listening to(not the cheesy stuff).
Sort of skinny puppy meets, a more melodic plucked sample melodic section, anywho, that's what struck me with all the vocal samples, the "crunch/crash" sample used as part of the basic drum rythm part.
Brings back memorys, think I'm going to get sentimental now.

General question about the "wusik lable", if you could put the upload link in this thread(if you haven't already filled your first user compilation release, I'd like to upload a diddy or two to the project).
Edit:
I'm going to assume it's the link in your sig, nvm lol.

I did like the song. I actually just set stuff up in the other room to start recording some guitar samples for ya, but since you wrote this, and like it, then I have some stuff you might appreciate for the wusik compilation.
hehe, I have this still looping, it really does remind me of a more coherent, "structured" skinny puppy, from uhm,....crap can't remember the name of the cd, it was the first one they released after Goetel died, sort of erie.

i like this alot. i like the movement of the track as well. I especially dig when the rock beat(acoustic sounding) comes in. I like that ?koto? type lead you got, and the bassline indeed is nice and chunky. I also like the spaceyness of the concept and the track mix. Props.

Oh, thanks bud.
That's a Santur actually, from Precisionsound. I converted it to WusikSND format and loaded with Wusikstation. I used 2 instances to play it in a very different way. Disk-Streaming was used, since the whole thing was over 1 Gig in memory.
The Bass is a very simple patch from the Mega-Bass Collection by AutoDafe.
Edit: sometimes the simple things works best.

I think you've done good work on both of these, but they really aren't the sort of material I'd normally listen to.
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!
