Harmonitron is a POG2+swell, I believe. I have an original POG and a POG2 and the Kuassa one that I just got the other day (from JRR! of course) is actually wonderful. I won't sell my pedals, in case in some absurd moment in my life I take them to a live gig for god knows what reason. But the Kuassa plugin is really good (for what it's supposed to do). Either the plugin or the pedals will suck out your precious tone anyway, but this is not a tone-enhancing pedal, it's an fx.
The HOG is a more sophisticated, synth-fx unit with more flexibility for an expression pedal... I borrowed one from a friend and tried it for a few weeks and got lost on what I wanted to accomplish with it... and I never looked back. For synth-like sounds I would go with the Boss SY pedals, but then, the POG does all I need when I want to get weird.
With the Kuassa it was fast and easy to get some of the tones I've been using my pedal for things that sound similar to Satriani's Time Machine album, and it pretty much responds like the POG2 pedal for the most part.

I was holding onto spare Waves serials to get a free wupping when needed. Seeing as they won't be usable after March 26th I've redeemed what I needed. Here's the ones that are left:

wow 20 minutes. thats just too quick. I have had the feeling that when people post codes, someone is hogging all of them. this confirms that suspicion.
Capitalism is a cancer of the human mind, as with all authoritarianisms. It opulently gluttonizes the selfish and carelessly starves the meek. It consumes Mother Earth and Humanity unhealthily, currently.

It's not too quick, I'm amazed it took that long. People underestimate how many lurkers there are on a public site. KVR forums are open to the entire world, you don't need an account to read it.

It looks like Waves got tired of this. Makes sense. If you can setup a bank of free email accounts, collect tons of licenses, then sell them slowly over the course of a year, you had free income.
Plus it devalued the product long term, since there were always people with these product licenses floating around. Waves might have it on sale for 25 dollars, but Joe LicenseFarmer will sell it to you for 5 dollars. And why bother with WUP when you can just get a whole new key for less than WUP?

Normally I just ignore anything when I see the "AI" label on it, but this looks like an interesting and cool drum plugin. Has anyone tried and recommend it? Does it generate drum machine type samples only or just any type (electronic/acoustic/hybrid)?Hewitt Huntwork wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 5:52 am APD has Emergent Drums by Audialab for $59 instead of $149. 60% off.
This is that thing that uses AI to create drum samples.

I'm not a fan of AI either.
What put me off a bit was the need for an Internet connection to generate the samples.

Does it work offline?
The samples you generate are stored locally and, once on disk, Emergent Drums can be used offline to play your samples, e.g. at live shows, recording studios, or on a plane. Emergent Drums only requires internet to generate new samples.
