3 hours of work so far:

work in progress - flashback

Deadline tomorrow before midnight. Does the mood and attitude work at all? Should I continue with this or try something different before my personal deadline?

All comments are more than welcome.

You did a decent job mixing it, I enjoy it. Goes on a bit long though without changing, but what you have so far works.

Sorry about the structure. Coudn't get more done in that time :( More coming up if the current version sounds OK so far.

EDIT:
Just to be clear, I'm aiming for a mixture of early 90s techno/house hybrid of modern electro house stuff with typical modern progressive house drums. So I'm trying to come up with something new here.

Hey there,

soundquality-wise it's good, but if you're aiming for something "new" or "innovative" this track is probably not the right one.
Though since it's work in progress it's all about how you take it too.
When listening to what you already have I would treat it as the "intro".
Now there should start a cool grooving bassline or freaky off-beat melody line or anything that prevents the listener from getting bored.

Cheers,
Doc

Got it done. Not the best track & mix in the world, but now I'm free to start working on the track.

I posted the finished track here:
