Wave Alchemy are very proud to announce the release of Syncussion Drums, a versitile collection of drum samples from the extremely rare and ultra raw sounding Pearl Syncussion SY-1 analogue drum synthesizer!

The pack contains 1885 finely crafted electronic drum hits which have been meticulously sampled via high-end converters through our boutique recording chain. Also included are over 800 drum hits recorded to 1/4" ATR tape via a Studer A80 Mk1 tape machine and over 60 multi-format drum kits.

yeah just checked them now. good quality, well recorded. and there's a beautiful low tom in the clean drums pack which i'll definitely be using. thanks a lot.

I am interested in this as a wav pack as i am still on live 6 & kontakt 2. If i purchased this as wav & at some point upgraded live or kontakt can I switch packs to their format for no extra charge?

Same goes for "deep drums" set as the xbass is definatly my favorite drum machine.

Hi,

Syncussion Drums already includes (at no extra cost) sampler patches for the following samplers:

NI Battery, Kontakt & Maschine, Reason NNXT, Halion, EXS24 and SFZ and also an ABleton live pack (.alp file)

The patches were made in Kontakt 2 so they will work in all newer versions of Kontakt if you decide to upgrade. I believe you will need at least Ableton Live version 7 to use the included Live pack.

Didn't know the Pearl Syncussion SY-1, it sounds very interesting.
One of your demo reminds me of Aphex Twin (but can't remember which song).

...a friendly bump for that! ...GREAT price... a true no-brainer if you consider the quality and quantity you are getting for that!

This sample pack has a nice, different "harmonic" overall feel from the rest of the WA products.
Plus, the taped samples, especially the hats and snares are lovely bonuses too!
