@ V'ger, I used a preset from the new vocal-soundset for Farbrausch, all based on that Famous Greek Singer "Evangelos Odysseas Papathanassiou".
It seems he plays keyboards as well.

Since I couldn't get the speech-thing to work, I've added a free WAV-Sampler (xtt01) and a free vocal sample:

There are 11 instances of Farbrausch running, two was equalised with FL Studios in build 7-band EQ.

At least I've put 2 freeware VSTs on the master-channel:

Farbrausch seems to use almost nothing from memory and CPU, cool.

Hi there Funkfeuer and welcome to the KVROSCs.

Well, i don't like to be the bad cop but i think you will need to reupload your track when fix it.

Firstly, you used external samples, and this is not allowed.

This is the rule:
No external samples or live sounds like voice, guitar etc allowed.
However, for convenience or CPU saving, synth bouncing/sampling are allowed but only where the exact same result could have been achieved using the original synth.

Anyway, instead of use an external sampler, you could use easier the built-in sampler of FL Studio, always that you put the note in C5, so the wavefile/drumloop sounds exactly if you were made a rendered/bounced synth bassline or whatever.

Secondly, you didn't use the native built-in FL Studio EQ.

This is the Built-in FL EQ (below), which i always used. Yeah, it's a tiny 3-band parametric EQ, but i always like to stick to the rules and it's already built-in with the mixer.

You used this one (below). Yeah, is a EQ which comes with the program, but it's not the native form, imo.

This is the rule:
External effects: Allowed but must be freeware and easily available to all except your DAW's native EQ which is ok.

Remember that you only can use free effects (and only the free synth of the month)

Anyway, wait for V'ger, he is the boss here and he has the last word.
I just wanted to help and encourage you to participate propertly in this month KVROSC.
So you could fix your track sticking to the rules and re-upload it before the deadline day without problem.

And i hope you didn't take my comments badly because i just wanted to guide you how to do it propertly and i want to see you in the contest.

Always it's difficult to be the bad cop who brings bad news. So sorry, really. Surely you will need to fix your track and re-encode, re-upload and all this stuff.
That's why i wanted to guide you as soon as possible, so you have more time to make this stuff and participate in the contest on time.

Anyway, as i said, wait for V'ger, he is usually online everyday, and he will guide you better than me. And also, he should be the bad cop here, not me.

And one last thing. When you upload your fixed track to SoundCloud, go Here and share your track with that group, so we can easily play and group your track in that Soundcloud webpage.

Yes like Irion says and U probably experienced, it's almost impossible to get a sound out of it and also very unstable.

Could we have an exhaustive list of the efects which are/aren't allowed ? I'm wondering about effects like delays and arpeggiators for example.

Such a list would probably be too long and some would get missed also, but of course delays and arps are ok.

Basically anything other than modulation effects, payware or from host is ok.

So delays with modulation is therefore modulation. You can of course use a delay that has modulation, but just not use that part of it.

OK, the sample will be deleted & the whole thing freshly recorded with FL-Studios native EQ, as IrionDaRonin described it.

Like already pointed out V2 is extremely efficiently coded and I'm pretty sure the one that uses the least amount of CPU resources of all the synths I've tried, and I've tried a lot.

Not a single patch goes above 1% cpu which is insane.. Not even Helix, Synth1 or Predator can match this, but then super-efficient coding is what the demoscene is known for, isn't it. Grats to Farbrausch. Love the sound too.

Had lots of fun with this one. Was so nice not having to bounce audio after every take. Started slow trying to get the speech thing working, but once that was sorted it all just flowed from there. Hope you enjoy!

Host: Cubase 6 - recorded on pc, mixed on mac (don't have a soundcard for the pc laptop I'm using so I bounced to audio and transferred to my mac so I could listen through my monitors when mixing)
Plugs: Host EQ, Sonimus SonEQ, Molot Compressor, LoudMax Limiter, TimeVerb, Cableguys PanCake (first time using PanCake, a nice timesaver)

Wanted to share some notes on the speech thing in case anyone else is still struggling with it.  In Cubase I wasn't able to type into the fields without triggering actions in the sequencer so I copied and pasted text and that worked well.  After copying and pasting using the note on (!) and note off (_) symbols didn't work at all for me so I just pasted the phonetic word spellings directly into the field without the note on and note off symbols.  It didn't take at first, when I would close then open the synth the text I pasted was gone from the speech field and I had to do it a bunch of times before it actually stuck.  I have no idea if there is a method to this or just blind luck.  Then I tweaked the oscillators till I got a voice I liked.  Hope that helps someone.  Good luck!
