Hi Attila,

Thanks for welcoming me here! I've watched all the walkthrough videos of 41fingers Youtube channel, and it makes a lot of sense naming sections, labeling things and so on. By default lines are named "lines" anyway, but customizing that means a lot to me.

I am a video editor first, and markers/regions/names are everything in any project.

I used Kontakt 7.10.6 with Olympus Choir, Noire Piano, CSS Brass and CSS Strings (4 MIDI channels output multirack - A1, A2, A3, A4).

Maybe because all instruments are loaded into one Kontakt instance caused this. I will experiment more, and will try to use VST in Cubase to compare if it crashes as well.

Hi alice1215,

I am going to make it possible to name lines in the beta version in a few days. There will be a setting for allowing this.
I downloaded the latest version of Kontakt to test with, it turned out I had v7.9.

New composition, first old bug, second new one after ver 5.3:
1. Modal window save dialog appears under main app, after call any modal popup ( on video phrase setting dialog).
2. New lines not show phrases/generators after zooming that line.

I made sure the "Save phrase to library" window opens in the main window, rather than in the detached inspector window.
There is a "Keep inspector windows always on top" setting if you don't want them to be hidden.

The second bug is more serious so it is fixed in the currently uploaded v5.3.3 and v5.4b1 versions. It appeared as a result of rendering optimizations. I am sorry about it, I hate to have bugs.

Bug - RC5.4 VST3 "Extend comosition length" not response input - Intel Mac 13.7.1, Reaper Mac 7.2.7

Reaper Mac 7.2.7 - Either adding VST or Au of Rapidcomposer v5.4 - Drag any midi into track the ‘Extend composition length?' window pop up - no response whille click OK or Cancel button within Window - whole Reaper can not response continue because this popup window.

Thanks for reporting this serious bug! This was fixed, and while the fix will be officially in v5.4.1, the current v5.4.0 version was re-built, so please download it and install it again.

There is another issue on RC v5.4 Mac(I'm using LE), and do not know other people have this issue, please double check this if you can:

Mac OSX 13.7.1 intel, Rapidcomposer LE 5.4.0 (happen on both Standalone and VST mode for me)
Menu ->Setting -> Keyboard Shortcuts, choose any operation then assign MIDI shortcut by press one of note on MIDI keyboard ---- this making RC instant quit without any message(in standanone mode), or make DAW host quit (under VST mode, I am on Reaper 7.2.7 Mac). I remember this operation worked well before.

This is fixed in v5.4.1, which was uploaded today. You can check for updates (and changes/improvements) under the Support tab, or use the download links, or just download the demo version that becomes unlocked after installation.

Hello Attila - just been looking at v5.4.1 update, and the new browser Search Bar improvements... Much better than before, thanks.!

Though, all seems good for the 'File Browser' - search returns opened folders with instances of targets revealed, as expected. But with the other browsers, for me here, search returns only the (closed) folders/directories that contain the target text...

Is this intended or a limitation perhaps.? Or maybe just me.?

I know about this, but I removed this functionality (opening all folders) in the last minute because it would have probably caused new issues which I did not want.
Please press the 'extend all' button above the list to open all folders.
(For other than the file browser, these folders are virtual, not real entries.)

I don't know if I'm doing something terribly wrong, but for me if I try to use Melody Generator v2 with any first chords contain 5th, sus2, sus4, add2, add4 throws notes with the same pitch and an error tag on their label for all the following chords.

I tried all the combinations in the generator and the chords tab but its always all the same. I can't even see the reason why it should not to work with those chords, although rythm generation is seems to work.

Dragging a Rhythm to Rhythm Mapper or Apply Rhythm in Variations does not work. The rhythm drops to the track behind the Variation inspector instead. Also, the ability to preload rhythm phrases into percussion generator would be cool. We could try variations of our own selected patterns for each drum. (I know this is bug section but ability to add variation to each drum pc would be amazing too.)

Hi Zu14ruf,

welcome to this forum, and thanks for reporting this bug!
Looking up a suitable scale for each chord did not work for some chord types.
I have fixed this, and will upload an update in about 2 days. In addition, I added an extra option to use the master track scale, rather than the scale created from each chord. Hopefully this will be useful for some users.
