this reminds me of movies like 'forbidden planet' or 'terror in space' ('vampire planet').

it harkens back to 'early electronica,' but with some 'modern touches' - sub bass and percussive bits.

i never thought of that when i was making the piece ... but i get why you'd hear it that way. and i'm a big fan of the Forbidden Planet soundtrack, so it doesn't surprise me i'd end up making something that sounds like it a bit.

Nice 'n' creepy. The percussion sounds evoke images of aliens eating. But I don't want to know what's for dinner.

I like the whispy tickly percussion, and the main "sound" seems to have an almost "radio dial turning" (but more controlled) tone that I just love. Thanks for sharing!
