Yea, I like it a lot, particularly for what it does to the low end---seems to focus it nicely. Molot is smoother on the highs, though, IMO.

This is a nice sounding compressor. Same feeling about the bass. Great for drums too, nice "snap". thanks for posting!

Didn't happen here on a Phenom II. It is CPU intensive, though.

Hey there,
just saw this thread and thought It could be a great opportunity to join kvr once for all
i developed the plugin, any comment/idea is greatly appreciated. Really glad to see your nice feedback, thank you guys!
to be honest, all my audio studies/projects have a purely egoistic background. they are most of all designed for my own needs, the idea to share them in public just came lately. all are related to the mastering context where latency and CPU performance isn't an issue. So please be kind and allow me a few update cycles to add stuff like SSE2 support and fix the last performance and compatibility issues.
@GeorgeZ: I fixed a severe denormal issue with the last update. I'm pretty sure this was the source of your problem.

Hi.
I've updated from 0.1.32 to 0.1.35, and now Ableton Live crashes at startup.
Weird...

Thank you FabienTDR!
Nice work. Yes, I like your egoistic motivation.
Two questions:
How do you count your versions? Is
it 0.1.36 or is it 10.1.36?
Does it worry you, that the values below the knobs
are only refreshed when switching on and off again?
If you just turn the knobs the values below are not
updated - that means: They never show the right value.
But that's just their way ...
Next time I'll make more tests. This seems to be
a very decent comp. Thank you!

It's majorversion.minorversion.fixversion, the first part is reserved to release versions (still beta yet).enroe wrote:How do you count your versions? Is

This is definitely a bug, and new to me. I couldn't re-recreate it on my own. Would be helpful if you could tell me which VST host you were using. They only update after bypassing and reactivating the compressor? Right?

I do a first check always in knobgrabber. This tool only shows the GUI. Here the values are not updated, but hey - that's not a point.
Second check: Wavosaur: All ok.
Third check will be Cubase - next days.
Thank you!
