Yep - another tedious guess the synth thread.
This is mostly just for fun, but the first correct guess gets a patchbank which will include the presets used in the following clips.
No rules, guess as many times as you want.
First off something Brazilian:
Samba de Orpheu
Switching between different Keys presets (scuse the playing):
Favourite Things
A bit of choir practice:
Choral
A bit of everything:
808 State, J.S. Bach, etc...
Note: no outboard effects were used in the above clips - it's just the unadorned synth.
Clue 1: some say that this synth has a distinctive sound, so perhaps this won't take long?
Clue 2: there's a certain degree of misdirection in the sound examples.
Clue 3: not withstanding the above, someone who knows it should be able to pick up on at least one of the unique or identifiable features of the mystery synth - there are at least four audible in the clips... two of them are very clear, imo.
Synths so far eliminated: Sylenth, Zebra, Alchemy, Tassman, Bazille, SQ8L and Synthmaster.

Only one guess? I know these are boring, but...
Anyway, just added a second clip - flicking through some keys presets.
So, any golden ears out there? Perhaps some sound designer will hear something that they recognise?

One last clip uploaded.
A more varied selection this time. And, seeing as the style of music in the first three clips was evidently not to many people's taste, I've included some of that electronic music that the kids seem to like these days.
The mystery synth should be obvious, imo (plenty of clues in there).

Do these threads only take off where a prize of some, not insignificant, monetary value is offered?
Very well, 50 quatloos to the winnar*!
*or the patchbank - dependant upon which of the two is not a made up currency

Well, I'm clean out of quatloos, so I'll take a punt. Is it Tassman?

Sounds to me like an FM Synth or something close like PD...
So I'll guess at U-he Bazille....
I thought it may be SQ8l too, but Bazille is my first choice
Nice presets btw...
