Originally from September 2010, this took 10 hours to record. The May/June 2013 remix took about 9 hours of intense effort, including one terrible moment when I though I had lost the project. Fortunately I hadn't. This is essentially a soundscape with attitude. Approximately one month after completing the original, I realised that this could almost be Part 2 of Conflicting Prophecies.

EDIT:20210716 - Remixed in 2021 - A cosmetic update of the 2013 remix. Update from EnergyXT2.7beta to EnergyXT2.7 revealed that some of the internal parameters had been "shuffled around", although they were retrievable. I re-arranged the project parameters, I adjusted the REFLEX free settings to remove some resonance. I slightly widened some of the panning, made little tweaks to the Plate reverb parameters, re-EQ'd all instruments, re-levelled and added Satin to the master bus. The track was then re-mastered in T-Racks5. This has a cleaner sound and a slightly different instrument balance than in the original (in the first post of this thread). I'm hoping to release this on an album sometime in 2022.

I agree, a really beautiful piece. Love that fat old arp that comes in around 2:15. This just has a really peaceful vibe to it. Nice little surprise with the drums kicking in about 4:20. Nice little journey.

I like that baby theremin robo-lullaby, arp and drums seem to be moving in the opposite direction. Interesting blend of wave licks.

Very interesting. The voice patch you have here is very curious indeed.
At first I didn't like the percussion; but towards the end I liked the build-up.
Inspiring..
Thanks for sharing this!

I enjoyed this, especially the theremin-like sound (and part) and the drums, which sound great. Thanks, seismic1.

The choral parts are fantastic, especially the lead. There are some quirky but excellent drum sounds with some great drum programming. Once things take off, we are in familiar, solid Seismic territory with a "clockwork" quarter note part and the Pro-53 lead. Fortunately, the Pro-53 was perfectly EQ'ed to remove the high frequencies that I find painful. We drift out on a nice choral coda (although I'm not sure if the metronome was needed there).
Previously your standard length was 6-7 minutes. This one is approaching 8 minutes. I think it might have been a little stronger if it were a minute or so shorter since the piece tended to linger for a while in certain sections.
Once again, the mix was perfect. Great track overall!
Check out the Citron EP folks. It's good stuff.

This is a track that builds beautifully with a loop running under it. Great build up with nice additions. Some of it reminds me of Steve Hacketts track, Shadow of the Heirophant. The lead synth Is excellent. Well Done!

That baby theremin synth is amb electra bass played in a higher register than would be normal/expected.
