With guitars and keyboards that threaten to float away into space and some unusual chord changes, this left me more uneasy than chilled out. There are also some scratchy high frequency sounds that I am not wild about.

Nevertheless, it is original, unpredictable and interesting. Good job. 8)

I like this in general. I'm not sure about the wash of distortion over everything. In headphones it's unpleasant. Not so bad on monitors. The piece I hear under the distortion is quite nice. Thanks, Mister Natural.

thanks Frantz - good feedback

thanks Dan - really need to look at where that dist is coming from as I don't intend anything to be unpleasant. Not sure if it's from one of the efx plugs(i.e. VOS Nasty Delay on the piano) or from Ozone5 on the master . . .

I like both versions, but ironically, I like your 1.2 version better. I like that dirtier sound as I feel it takes the groove to a more mysterious place. It makes it feel more like a recording that was lost in the archives many years ago and just discovered again (I mean that in a good way).

Good work!

I think the newer version is a definite improvement, which just means "more to my taste" (and also that the unpleasantness in headphones was gone).

thanks guys

I used an instance of Classic Delay on one of the guitar lines set to "tape" emulation and that introduced "tape hiss" that was accentuated by Ozone on the master

changed the delay type and twisted a couple of knobs and voila !

I thought this was just beautiful. The reverse delay is great, the bass sound is unique. The drums sound like they were recorded in an empty auditorium, not quite the same sound as the rest of it but not necessarily bad. Thanks for sharing.
