Hey,
i'm evaluating Reaper on my laptop atm, and ran into a problem. I add an instrument track, in my case with DuneCM, play it with my midi keyboard, turn the knobs i midi learned for the controls of DuneCM, no problem, but then i add DiversionFX CM, activate the delay, then switch back to control Dune, turn the filter cutoff or resonance knob on my midi keyboard, and the track gets immediately muted... already tried some different settings for WASAPI, installed ASIO4ALL, and used Asio, but it's the exact same thing there. As i said, the weird thing is, that it works fine, as long as i don't add additional FX. Anyone has an idea what's wrong there?

Maybe the Delay (feedback?) shoots the volume over the top so Reaper auto-mutes the track?

I doubt it, because it works fine, as long as i control the knobs with the mouse. I will try some other FX though, to make sure it's not related to DiversionFX CM.

Options/Preferences/Audio/Change "Automatically mute any track" to "No muting".
Or put a higher threshold there.

Thanks. Just tried some other FX, and it doesn't happen with those, so definitely a problem related to DiversionFX. I'll change the subject accordingly, maybe someone has similar problems with it? Actually, i would think Reaper mutes the track for a reason, don't really want to blast my speakers, or my ears.
Ony my other computer, using Cubase Elements, DiversionFX works fine btw, no problems there.
