Increased wavetables, so I probably just imagined additive.pdxindy wrote:I didn't see any mention of additive eitherSpip wrote:Are you sure ? I didn't see anything implying it.BBFG# wrote: IMBW, But it seems the video blurb at least implied additive?
That's why I qualified it with the IMBW and the word 'implied'...

It seems so looking at the pictures at the bottom of the website page.pdxindy wrote:Audio import!! The video only showed importing a long piece of audio for using with the granular engine. Can you also import multi-samples? wavetables?

I'm thinking about selling some vst's that I don't use much (lush, cyclop) and get omnisphere 1 right away.
Since there's a grace period I'll get omnisphere 2 for free when it's out.

Take a look at image 28/30. You can assign any velocity or round robin you want to any sample.mhog wrote:wavetables maybe. This looks sweet. I do hope it will allow user wavetables. Just getting 3000 new presets is worth a lot to me. There are so many new goodies that I'm onboard.

I'm wondering whether Omnisphere 2 becomes resellable if you purchase the upgrade from their TechShop and you own Omnisphere 1 (Transferred License).
It would make sense to me, having in mind that the Upgrade is a not a transferred purchase.
P.S. For those who don't know, Omnisphere 1is NFR if you have a transferred license.

If you upgraded to Omni from Atmosphere it became NFR.cocoazenith wrote:I'm wondering whether Omnisphere 2 becomes resellable if you purchase the upgrade from their TechShop and you own Omnisphere 1 (Transferred License).

IM SO PUMPED, cause omnisphere is my go to for a lot of needs!
but the granular synthesis seems to be still nothing compared to alchemy etc. no loop points etc. so it still isnt my choice for granular synths .
and will omnisphere 2 be backwards compatible? keeping all sounds a project was saved as? big question !

Clearly the Camels were so worried about the threat to Alchemy that they just threw in the towel....
