Think that Faxi Nadu and Martian Arts are into hardware, there's more of them for sure, guess plenty of them are with just Nords/Virus and rest all ITB, broke or gigging a lot. :D

Concerning hardware, I'd say pretty many people seem to be getting back to it, also the eurorack thing has been very good for interest towards HW.

From the top of my head, Martian Arts, Terrafractyl, Electrypnosis (he even built his own big modular ground up from components which burned down with his studio), and Merv Pepler I hear, are at least heavily into modular. In the old days Sean Williams of Process used a lot of modular stuff... His sounds were pretty much ahead of his time in this way on few of his tracks like Cryogen. Nick Doof is apparently into euro these days, not sure what he is doing though, can't remember a recent release from him, anyway nothing to do with trance anymore for sure. Radical Distortion uses a lot of analog gear. If I'm not wront I was playing at a party with them some years back, they seemed to be quite deep into euro.

Indeed, Martian Arts, Eat Static are into modular hardware. For what I know, Necrarios doesn't use software in his productions at all.

Generally, i think Virus is still in the game. Many tracks by E-Clip, Electric Universe, Space Tribe and others have that very recognizable Virus sound. Basically Virus TI alone can provide all sounds one would need for a psytrance track.

"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

Moody proggy stuff with some infulences from ealier E-Clip tracks. 50% Virus TI/50% softsynths (Spire, Repro, Bazille and others). Now that Viper is out it's probably going to be my last track where I used Virus that much.

Also my EP Soul Of The Machine is out at Gert Sound Records

Not my preferred kind of psy, but it sounds very impressive :tu: Very tight production.

They're so good that I don't know what to say. Just take my money

Thanks guys :)

The second one is my own favourite as well. I always feel drawn to morning/euphoric side of psytrance.

Watched "Groundhog Day" recently and there was a line in movie that just sounded like an perfect movie sample for an psy track:
"I've killed myself so many times, I don't even exist anymore."

Also this is nice, especially the lines "And then, everything comes together
in this one perfect moment at the end.....you start to see that all of this randomness is leading towards a perfect moment." swoooshhhh

Yeah! 8) Bring it on! :wheee:

Dunno about you guys, but most of the times I find speech samples really awesome, setting the story up for the listener, it can really enhance the whole thing. 8)

I don't know if anyone posted the following yet. This is a playlist link (starting at the 3rd track in the album), for a Psytrance/Psytrap/Psy... stuff... album.

I'm not a Psytrance kinda guy, but I found about 8 tracks in here that I think are amazing, namely:

Bigfoot
LDA
Regained For The First Time
ShineFeel
Rewind
Life Electronic
DNA Machine
Bank
Inner G
