Thanks for sharing the info,
it's a very nice modular, stable, cross plateform, free and not so hard to understand,( if you use Ctl/cme E !)
With Wren, we now have some good free tools, awesome

Thank you, yeah its very easy indead,it's a little bit annoying to use ctrl+e all the time , and the best quality oscillator is still too band limited ,but on the plus side we can program our own modules (like reaktor) it seems stable and is great for free,i believe that the quality will be improved (maybe polybleb oscillators ,who knows).
i also tried wren ,but i had some problems with asio in my system, and crashed sometimes.
i also use and love nord modular demo (the hacked version) so i have all the modules avaible.
other options with patch cables:
XSRDO Patchwork Modular is another option for vst but a little bit digital sounding,.
sonigen is also good but a bit limited
nord modular is my favorite, because it's still stable ,the gate/trigger/cv signals are identical to real modular systems(i can check this with a soundcard osciloscope) and have a lot of modules.

Just started using Pure Data, so will definitely be checking this out! I'd used Max, but didn't wanna pay for a subscription or buy it if I didn't know how much I'd continue using it, so pd is great. Glad it uses Vanilla and not the discontinued Extended.
