Hey Robert.
I just took a look at the Dr32. Great interface. Perfect color scheme for my tastes. A couple of things to consider.
Use multisampler for pads so you could have multi velocity samples.
Add send controls on each pad for the busses.
These could be small knobs on any side of the pad box. No text necessary for the sends. You could use colors that correspond to the busses. If I get a chance in the next week or so I will do these and send you a mock up for approval.

Another +1 for the layout and also on SM's post about MultiSampla.Scrubbing Monkeys wrote: ↑Mon Jul 11, 2022 9:06 amUse multisampler for pads so you could have multi velocity samples.
I still can't think of a way of using a MIDI CC to select between voices (e.g. for variable hi-hat) that just works (I think you might be able to do it with conversion to modulator to controling a mute - the layer would still be using CPU, though).

Thanks guys!
Velocity layered drum pads is a nice idea – I’ll try to transform DR32 into DR32MSP, however, I’m relatively new to the MuLab and I haven’t tried MultiSampla with drums yet, so it may take me few days to play with it.
Having send controls on each pad would be very handy too, maybe some sort of horizontal micro-sliders under the pads?
Thanks again, I’ll play with it. Also, feel free to modify this patches yourself, no approval needed.

Hi, I found some issues with “note sustain” implementation (Choke Groups) while finger drumming yesterday and I think I know how to fix it:
A “Note Length Modifier” – “Fix” mode gives me better results comparing to “Minimum Only” I have set before.
I’m thinking of adding a “Event Delay” to one of the sustain generator envelopes to make sure “Sustain On” message always comes after “Sustain Off”.
I’ll do some more testing to see how it works.

Hey Robert.
I started adding....and removing some things from DR32. I added bus sends and changed the samplers to multisamplers. I trimmed it down to 16 pads and two busses until I work it all out.
I included some pics of the layout and Mux. In the lay out you can see a couple of ideas of how to implement the bus sends. I think I like the knobs at the bottom better than slliders on side. Any thoughts
I will try and locate some licence free multi velocity drum samples to load up so we can share it. Or just make my own.
