Hi Jux.. Love the Simplicity of AUhost.... Its a great way to get to a plug in quickly without the need to launch a DAW or a VI that has no app.

One request from me would be it'd be wonderful if the Plugs listed could be grouped by Manufacturer.... Make it much faster to find things in my case.

In fact, I tried it once some time ago and abandoned because I couldn't remember manufactures very well (hehe). Though it should be done in some way. Could have options to choose how to sort/group the plugins.

That's basically the way Ableton Live handles it. Freaks me out all the time! But I can see how that can be useful in some ways.
