I have two questions and search didn't find anything, not that I tried very hard.
1) Copy protection: C/R, Serial, KeyFile, Dongle?
2) For the designer nodes. Does editing a named node change all instances of a named node within the current patch? Within the Library? Or does it work like Reaktor in that if you create a named node and then make eight copies and need to edit them that you have to edit all eight copies?
Yes, I could download the demo, but I don't know if that would answer my questions.

Hi!
Serial
Designers are not classes, each designer is a unique instance. Naming for each node is also unique per designer level, since the name of a node can add additional functionality to the node (like I1, O1). Anyways, there will be a solution in the next update to quickly replace nodes with another one without any patching.ghettosynth wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 11:37 pm 2) For the designer nodes. Most physical modeling patches I see get detuned when heavy dampening is applied, but the better ones can work against this phenomenon. I'm trying to figure out my own method, and I had an idea of how I'd solve this issue.
This video shows how I analyze the issue and try to find a solution for it... It's a bit longer than usual (incorporates also math, and use of 'Wolframalpha' and 'Desmos'), but I hope, it's still interesting.

If you know about something more efficient, let me know!

The latest video is about procedural sound design / generative music-making.
This is a generative pattern with procedural sounds only:

And this is the making-of video. I hope, you'll find this interesting:

Let me know, what you think!

Hi, is there a possibility to run the plugin without OpenGL?
Is pretty unstable on FL Studio (host culprit).
Also, is there an advantage/differences when render on software or hardware on today's computers?
In my case there's no much difference in audio apps.
The audiorate processing is no too friendly when using various instances.
But the number one is OpenGL thing which is pretty annoying (on my end at least).
Thanks for this nice plugin
Regards

Hi! We never got any instability issues yet. Can you please give us some info on how to recreate the issue?FabBad wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 8:59 pm Hi, is there a possibility to run the plugin without OpenGL?

OpenGL is a must. Not many plugins draw these many vectors, and you don't want to waste CPU resources.

Nevermind, is a FL Studio Graphics issue, happens with the GVST pack too.9b0 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 10:29 pmHi! We never got any instability issues yet. When i said "instability" i mean bad functioning on the host side, i think there's a siimilar post on looptalk, they know that thing.
I doesn't have experienced crashes on this version of AF yet.
i was only questioning/request an option for the GUI rendering mode.
if i don't want to waste CPU cycles sorry but i can't use this plugin just for a simple gain or an one of the stereo preset embed.
So, my main use here is for complex sound design which is great!
Best regards.

I was playing around for a bit in FLStudio, and I think, I know what you mean. The UI gets non-responsive and stuck when multiple windows are open, which should not happen (I'm using a laptop, with a 3080). Moving the window around feels laggy. Strange. When we last worked on the UI, it was fluid, I did not take a look at FL since then. Anyways, it looks like making AFModular bridged solves these issues for me if this is what you meant.
I'm going to force myself to work with FLStudio at least for SD projects, or a few tutorials to see if I encounter anything else (and hope, that Image-Line fixes the issue).
