Blue Cat's Destructor 1.2 is now available!
This free update mainly adds GUI zoom (up to 2x), Retina displays support, and a new installer for Mac. Presets management has also been improved, and a few minor issues have been fixed (full change log below).
Also, new legendary guitar tones presets crafted by Hans Van Even are now available for download for free. You can check the presets in action in our legendary guitar tone videos.
What's New in Destructor 1.2
- The GUI can now be zoomed from 70% to 200%.
- Last loaded preset is now remembered in session and displayed in the presets menu.
- Plug-in state can now be reverted to the last loaded preset.
- Default preset now also saves the state of locks (when using "save as user default").
- New installer on Mac.
- Now supports retina displays on Mac.
- Misc performance enhancements.
- VST3: factory presets are not exposed to the host application anymore.
- Fixed: the state of the plug-in was not fully restored when loading presets while bypassed.
- Fixed minor compatibility issues with Mac OS High Sierra.
- Dropped support for legacy RTAS and DirectX plug-in formats.
As usual, updates are available for free to existing customers, using the link received by email upon purchase. New customers can purchase the plug-in with 10% off until December 5th.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the update. I am getting the VST 3 versions blacklisted in Cubase 9.5. VST2 working fine.

Very nice. Being able to get that extra 20-30% zoom is so much nicer on a 1440p screen.

We have uploaded a maintenance release for Destructor (v1.21). It fixes an issue that appeared in v1.2 regarding source selection in the destruction module. It is recommenced to update quickly, as it impacts the dynamics detection feature of the destruction module (all presets that use another source than the preamp for dynamics will not sound as good as they should in v1.2!).

Do you know if any of the factory presets are set up this way?Blue Cat Audio wrote:We have uploaded a maintenance release for Destructor (v1.21).
