Gate/CV IN from eurorack sequencer module into Bitwig to control soft synth?

Hi guys, I've posted this on Bitwig Q&A

I'd like to sequence a software synth from my Metropolis eurorack sequencer, who's got a gate and a cv out.

Now I sort of figured out how to get cv from outside into bitwig but how to trigger a note from a gate signal coming from my external module?

Is that possible?

There isn't a CV device for triggering notes but you can get gates or envelopes to trigger notes with the Replacer device. It's not perfect. You have to modulate the note value for the device, which doesn't track 1v/Oct.

For now, I still use SilentWay for generating MIDI Notes and CCs from CV.
