Is it possible to automate or control Syntronik at all in Reason? I don't see a way.

If Syntronik can be automated in other VST DAWs then you can automate it in Reason. You need to add automation parameter to a track.braj wrote:Is it possible to automate or control Syntronik at all in Reason? I don't see a way.

Yeah, that simply doesn't work with Syntronik. In other VSTs, yes. That's the problem.kmonkey wrote:If Syntronik can be automated in other VST DAWs then you can automate it in Reason. OK, well, it looks like I'll probably sell it, without automation or controller support, it is a second class citizen in Reason. Bummer. I could just use it in Sampletank, but then I lose the nicer GUIs, the file browser and arp.

Syntronik uses MIDI CC messages to control its knobs etc.
User Manual, 4,7 wrote:Right-click any knob, slider or button on the Synth Panel to open a pop-up menu where you can assign or clear a MIDI Continuous Controller (CC) number to the panel control. Simply select Learn from the menu, and then move the external controller you want to assign to the panel control.
Note that the MIDI CC assignments are stored with the Multi, not with the Instrument, in order to avoid conflicts when multiple Instruments are combined in a Multi. Only MIDI CC messages are supported.
