When I got my JP8000 in 1998, I could not catch up with all the melody less noise or chord driven dance genres. So my W30, SY55, JP8000 and me did no go for Detroit-, Chicago-, or Berlin techno. Nor ambient, Rave, Psy- or Eurotrance but........(drumroll): ETHNO DANCE!!!!...what friggin ever that is......but it sounded like this:

"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

I feel I have been a little discriminating when starting a thread where no 4/4 was allowed. More than a few of you make dance music, so lets have a magnificant KVR party then. Make us dance. Post any dance tunes: IDM, disco, soul, trance, goa, acid etc. Only rule is that it has to be danceable in the good old discoteque way.

I have to recycle a contribution from another thread since it is really the only dance tune I got. Others are danceable but not dedicated dance tunes. It is a kind of trance tune with tribal ground instead of the usual 4-to-the-floor though it is still in 4/4. Party away DJs :party:

I'm a hippie. We could dance before there was any disco or 4-on-the-floor.

Rly?...thanks, mate. :hail: :hug:

However, I have 21 tracks in somewhat different styles. Are you thinking of the danceable ones in particular? Though, I just posted two danceable tunes from 1998 that I restored from tape, and these could need some plays, so you are welcome to start here. If these are for you I could make a mix further with other danceables. However, if you are more aligned to the one you quoted, I can make one with similar styles and put them on top of the list..

As well as my little know main musical project 'An Electric Heart', I have an even littler known pure electro project called 'Slave 1'.
I'd love to re-master this album, but I've lost the pre-mastered files. Here are a couple of my favorites;
