It wasn't really a multi-effect in the normal sense. Rather it had the ability to host digital hardware plugins. I am not quite sure which ones have ever been available for it.

If you go to Eventide SP2016 webpage you find there some of the original marketing materials and magazine reviews that list all the effect modules.

I read some of that, but there is a ton of info on there and didn’t have time for the whole thing today. Basically it says it is a reverb unit but if you get those optional ROMs it can do the other types of effects, unless I am mistaken?jens wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 7:26 pm ah, thanks - found them - if anyone else is interested:

A far as I understood it, it came with these 14 so called "standard programs":
- plate reverb and high-desity plate
- standard room
- stereo room
- generic reverb
- lossless room
- loop editing
- multitap delay
-time scramble
- chorus
- flanging and envelope flanging
- band delay
- musical combs
-dual digiplex and long digiplex
- dual delay and long delay
Several programs fit on one ROM (no info on how many, as far as I see - perhaps it depends)
and there was space for 11 ROMs.
I guess the reverbs aside the programs are either not relevant today (loop editing) or already covered elsewhere within their plugin-portfolio.

My new go to for room/ambience make something fat reverb tasks, and drums/percussion. I yet to try it properly on other sources in a mix. I really like it and I rarely get excited with plugin reverbs.
