The empty distortion models are empty slots for future expansion.

Oscillator start phase:
They are normally free running. You can switch on "Note on sync" button on the oscillator page. Then all oscillators will start with the same phase everytime the oscillators are retriggered. But you cannot adjust the synced phase start point. I am not sure what the start phase is in synced mode, I am not the coder.
But for the LFOs you can adjust the start phase.
4x Oversampling:
The oscillator will not have aliasing with no oversampling. But hard-synced sounds and the flexi oscillators in phase dist mode would do a lot of aliasing noise in the old version. This is cured with 4x oversampling.
I think the CPU is 2.3 times higher in the new version. It is still a very efficient synth compared to the most popular synths on the market. I think Diva and Spire use 8X oversampling. It is a long discussion if you should if 4x or 8x oversampling. 4x will almost remove all artifacts, with 8x you are 100% safe. With messiah I could almost hear no difference between 4x and 8x on good Neumann KH120 A monitors.

I think one of the two None distortion modes is already in use, it sounds slightly different from the other two.
That new GUI looks really very appealing, clean and friendly now
The Init patch has delay and reverb enabled, kind of weird.

I just want to say that I purchased all 3 products from Memory Moon yesterday. Great stuff. I use jBridge with memorymoon 32 and it works just fine in Cubase/Nuendo 10. Great sounding products! Keep up the good work!

I noticed a possible issue with the delay:
When you turn sync off and change the rate manually while playing, the knob seems to produce "digital noise", which becomes part of the audio signal being delayed.
Not sure if it is still present in the latest version because unfortunately the demo is still 2.0.

CK always used static or modulated mode in his delays. It must be in static mode. I have the Minilogue, and with that synth I learned that changing delay times can be great fun. Will try to change it in next update.

No Mac version. We did not leave Mac, Mac left us. They do not support the framework Messiah was built on any more.
Have replaced 46 patches in the factory bank.
All extra banks improved. To load a new bank just hit "Bank" button next to the LCD display. Lots of new sounds in the extra banks. Weak patches has been replaced, and some banks have been totally reworked.
Messiah now comes with 1377 presets. I think it is enough, so this time I tried to replace the weakest, rather than increasing the number.
Original Prophet5 presets improved and moved to the last bank "k_fx_bass".
New Prophet5 rev4 controller template. The installer will install these templates and all the soundbanks a - k. To use a CC template just hit on messiah GUI: File(next to the LCD display)/load CCmap/prophet5 rev4.
There are already CC-templates for: Minilogue2.0 , MoogSUB37, NordStage3, OB6 , Prophet6 , Prophet REV2 , RolandXa (this synth will send very few CC messages, so the control is limited) , Roland System8 and Soundforce SFC5. And on the download page you will find messiah controller templates that you can load into the controller with their editor. The latest one is Alkex Professor2 template.
New reverb templates with Lexicon settings. Now Messiah comes with 18 effect templates with names like: Plate, Cathedral, Med Hall, Big Hall, Large room, Fat room. Improved juno106 chorus template and now also chorus template for juno106 chorus2. The Roland 106 chorus was intended for 1 osc type sounds, and can feel a little seasick on full 2 osc sounds. All the Lexicon templates have set the chorus to Roland 106 style.
New vintage knob: Card Drift Pulse knob now works as a Vintage knob with random timing changes to AMP & Filter Envelope times (in addition to variations of pulse width).
