Probably Envelope Follower, Attack-Release, Attack-Decay and Cyclic

Anyone got a feel for DSP load?

What really works for me with this plugin so far is to tweak the Touch of Twang- and Guitar Room-presets so that they add just a little bit of color (e.g. drive) to the sound. I use the Touch of Twang-thing on my guitar sounds and the Guitar Room-thing in the mix. The sound now feels more natural and open. I like it a lot.

I fell in love the moment i loaded it up.

It's the Rhodes Piano's best friend! Just patch the "Touch of twang" preset to a clean amped sound and it's heaven!

EDIT: Got one wish though. I would love an option to modulate the output volume of the whole plugin (including dry) - not just the verb. Both are useful.

EF -> Envelope Follower (aka slew limiter), following Source

AR -> Rises to full value at rate A while Source is above Threshold, then stays there. Otherwise falls back to 0 with rate R

AD -> Once Source surpasses Threshold, it rises to full value at rate R, then falls back to 0 at rate D. Source surpassing Threshold level is a trigger here

CYC -> Does the LFO thing while input is above threshold level
Thanks !

Don't install plugins in Program Files folder! That's a really bad idea. At the very least, put the .data folder outside of it, because that folder needs write access, and Windows isn't giving that write access to any random program, if the folder is within Program Files.

Same in Cubase 10 Pro, 64-bit.

Ok, works with all my other U-he plugs, though.
Thanks for the tip, I will try it.

I also tried to install as Administrator.
Did not fix it.

Post

Administrators don't have write access to Program Files folder by default, so that won't help. Only TrustedInstaller and System (IIRC) have write access to Program Files folders.

Just don't do this. Move out your plugin folder outside of Program Files. You will thank me later. :)

Installation as admin is obligatory but what's important is to run the DAW that loads a plugin as admin. Generally, you are better of using a path that is not copy protected. Important is the .data directory, not where you put the actual VST2/VST3/AAX

You can choose: "Out: Out Gain" from the mod matrix... you can basically turn TwSt into a compressor or distortion unit! ;)

Just did it. THANK YOU! :)

And I must tell that from the first impressions of Twangstrom, this Twang is the first spring plug that instantly got my thought back to my dad's 70's Twin Reverb. And I have only scratched the surface. A big thank you to you also U-he! This is going to be great!

I am a sucker for spring so I bought it before even testing ;)
