Very nice, especially liking the bass from the "diminutive looking" OXE.

Great mix. Excellent use of space. A pleasant mellow journey.

My Feedback

Music - 8.5
Instruments - 9.5
Performance - 9.5
Mix - 10

Overall - 9.375

Comments: Typical Layzer goodness. I didn't look at the instrument list. Anything on this that cost more than $2? LOL. I'd never have the guts to do a whole track with cheap or free synths.

8.5? ehhh ok i'll take it as it is minimal...
just a notch above a drone in the effort department. :hihi:

ahh wags, some day you will realize that a great sculptor can
even sculpt a work of art out of a pile of dog crap.

oxe, tritium and sfz+ are free,
RMIV was given to me by a friend that no longer uses 32bit plugs
Beat mag gave Z3ta+ v1.5 serials free for a day a few years ago...
so no, this was all done with free crap synths and a ton of reverb!

I'm always inspired by what you are able to achieve with a minimal toolset... but if I think about it, minimal is not the right word because the quality of tools available for little or no cost, is pretty astounding.

Thanks for sharing!

Nive vibe. That kick sounds a bit old school in my ears.

I love those sound sources, especially OXE. Drums are very good too.

Enjoyed thoroughly, thanks for sharing.

Excellent sound and track as always Layzer. I agree, it is not what synths you have and how much they cost, but more what you do with them. Nice job
I invite you to 'voyage' over to https://adrianearnshaw.com, sign up for some fun e-mail 'blasts', and look forward to helping you launch your ears - and projects - into the stratosphere.

thanks for the listen and comment, glad you found it pleasant, may not have been the case had i used a more modern, overwhelming, over compressed, overcooked, obnoxiously loud kick, huh? :hihi:

thanks for the listen,
yeah, i focus on harmony and balance in my music, not necessarily the loudest kick that makes peoples ears bleed. Therefore i prefer
the great 606, 808, 909 type kick with little or no compression.
the RMIV Analog drum engine is in fact modeled after the roland TR-606.

yup, OXE is a good FM synth that gets the FM job done.
glad you enjoyed the tunes as well as my sound design programming on the sound sources!
