Here's a (near-final) draft of a track I've been working on, looking for any feedback/improvements etc

Any and all feedback appreciated!

I am missing a full melodic development here. If there was it wasn't that apparent to me. I guess there was an attempt at 2 to 4 bars worth of melody, but the cycle keeps repeating itself throughout the entire track. You may want to look at the same chord progressions and perhaps add some variations to the melody. Jumps up and down the scale would be a good start. Just experiment. Otherwise it is a nice first draft. :tu:

I don't mean to come across as rude, but "2 to 4 bars worth"??? I can tell you there's definitely more than that, what about the square lead 3:33 to 4:36, 4:59 to 6:08? That definitely sounded like a melody to me when I made it, and it still does. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to say?

I was referring to relative note progressions, not absolute length of the melodic part. As in, one can have 10 minutes of the same 4 bar note progressions as opposed to 10 minutes comprising 16 bar progressions. But as they say, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, including me, so I gave mine. Feel free to ignore it.

Its good.
I would cut the song time down a bit tho.
From 1m00 to 2m23 its the same energy level. People get bored quick these days.
Could be a good track if the fat was trimmed off.
