Thanks Vurt. This was made after the latest updates. The filter is actually less aggressive than it was before. I have another firmware update to install tonight. Polyend and Dreadbox are constantly improving the functionality of the sequencer & synth.

The speaker death bit is my biggest complaint about the Medusa. I really kind of hate the way the filter resonance goes into self-oscillation so abruptly, almost like an on/off switch with no transitional range. And I haven’t put it on a scope yet, but that resonance sounds pretty overdriven to me and not really like a clean sine wave.
I see that the latest non-beta firmware has been released now. Gotta install that this weekend and have a play!

The last 1.1.14 update changed the filters behaviour. It still self resonates, but its more controllable and less sudden now. There's a new firmware out today ... and more to come (according to Polyend).
