Some cool chord patterns here. I would have liked it to end just after the 3 and a half minute mark, but that's just me.
The mix is really loud, all elements are fighting for the same volume :(

hey, that's a nicetrack indeed
i know that music style wants it but drums might sound a bit too muffled - especialy the snare wich might need more 6k to 12k high frequencies- i would use a high shelf as a starting point and see what it does.
HH might sound a bit too loud as the snare is a bit behind it as said before.

Mabe too much compression on that snare too but, i try to avoid the use of compression in general so my opinion might not be relevant.
What i'd do if you want compression on it is a bit of parallel compression instead with a stereo aux with the following settings.
Ratio at least :2 (not more)
attack set between 20 and 50 ms - i would choose around 50 ms
release kinda very short 160 ms
thresh set to limit at least -2dB on climax
compressor gain depends on your session so it's definatly up to you.

keep it up
Dominic

Yeah, you're right. I'm a great fan of Pink Floyd. Especially love 'Meddle', 'Obscured by Clouds' and 'Live At Pompeii'. In early 2000s I literally breathed with Pink Floyd.

yeah, sounds like heavy compression going on with most of the sounds.
i'm hearing this with most of his tracks. he'll be ok once the thrill of
making everything loud gives way to the beauty of dynamic range. :phones:

the composition is strange too, like some elements are playing out of key.
i dunno... may be just me
