Seems like a good intro offer.

They were pretty impressed at GS. Anyone here have this?

Seen them around but haven't heard any user comments on them. Certainly look nice.

Surprised no more talk here about this, how do they compare to the Overtone version of and the Ignite amps free version ?

Put an oscilloscope and a spectrum analyzer after it.
Run a pure sine wave through it, play with the gains.
Run white noise through it, play with the bands.
Run nothing through it, switch analog on and off.
It's just a basic digital EQ with cramped highs, nothing fancy going on.
No oversampling, no filter drive/saturation, zero nonlinearities.
Even the "analog" noise is mixed in at the output stage, if you know what that means.
Possible that it does some rudimentary soft clipping, forgot about that, was a too boring experience to remember.
What you're hearing is the interface graphics.
Confucamus.

did we test the same plugin? it indeed doesn't have any oversampling, but it does have saturation and it doesn't cramp the highs. its input stage is fixed, so using the output knob will not add or remove harmonics - you have to drive the input to get that.

They announced in the GS thread that they'll add oversampling/anti aliased engine. Maybe you got it confused with Analog Obsession Rare which apparently has cramping.

I found it good sounding and having non linear behavior.

as for it being "simple digital EQ", try playing around with the low 30Hz band boost/cut. there's some pretty complex interaction going on there.
