I know many of you are not aware or to demanding for a DAW like Mulab, but this new timestretch algo (he developed himself) is the sh*t... I am really speechless...

Just 2 little examples I made for myself:

1. Percussion loop stretch by 400% ...first the original, second latest eleastic Pro, third FL Studio´s homemade stretch algo followed by the best match FL Studio Slice and Stretch algo... last: Mulab V8
This one blew me away...

2. Vocal sample with Reverb stretched by 300% ... first original then elastic Pro (was better than mono) followed by Mulab V8... not that big difference like with percussion and a bit phasy but much more smooth than elastic pro...

For me... Elastic Pro go home... make your homework... there is a new king in place...!!!

Congrats Jo... this is simply mindblowing... updating a complete DAW and by the way developing such an algo... :tu:

It definitely removes that artificial sounding, typical stretch sound. Well done. :)

Jo has made a granular mode too but this one is called "Spectral"...

I find especially with the perc loop this still sounds like drums....

Pretty impressive examples.
my other modular synth is a bugbrand

Boys and girls ...

do yourself a favour and go out, buy yourself a copy of this genious work...!!! And if you are using it just to timestretch your audio... I find this is well worth it!

It´s just 69,-€...
Most of you spend the double and more on single plugins which do less than a 1% of what this sh*t does...
Imho this work deserves support...

This is a little vid I found using this new timestretch:

To be honest, what I want is MuLab timeline/tracks inside MUX.

Just a disclaimer before this comes up:

I am not envolved at all with MuTools (not part of the company, no commission...nothing)

I am just blown away from what I tried...

And all I did was dropping the audio holding ALT and stretch it out... no settings needed... nothing!!!

Congrats to Jo, this is really impressive!

Wish he'd make it licensable :P

Was my thought too... 8)

Yeah, it's unlikely that i will buy MuLab just for this.

Tbh, I never work in more than 1 DAW for one prject, but seriously this timestretch could change my mind...
And the costs are a no brainer imho...
How many work out some loops in Ableton for it´s ease of use, export them then to their "normal DAW"...
With Mulab V8 I could imagine a similar workflow for me just judging from what I seen in the vid and tested myself so far...

Huh...Impressive. Mabye I'll have to give this lil thing a Shot...
The post above this is likely bait, viewer discretion is advised.
