Hello,

I have a new track on Soundcloud. It was created in 2015, but I thought I post it again because of the sinister atmosphere, which refers to 'Places' that are not really comfortable in our society. Thanks for listening!

Lots of variation means the track is fun to listen to. That one change about half way through seems quite extreme, presumably intentionally so.
Voted KVR's resident drunk Robert Smith impersonator (thanks Frantz!)

Thanks for commenting. The change in the mood is intended, that's right. I wanted to make listenable what happens if you are thrown into surroundings that are usually not part of an everyday life.

My Feedback

Music - 9
Instruments - 10
Performance - 9.5
Mix - 10

Overall - 9.625

Comments: Nice mix of synth sounds. Clean mix. Musically interesting adventure. Lack of structure doesn't really hurt this one, which is like driving down main street and you never know what stores you're going to see next. Well done.

Nicely mixed, and an interesting composition. I think the busy percussion and rhythmic basis of the second section may be too "cheerful". You might be able to achieve a greater contrast between the mood of the first and second sections by cutting back the rhythmic/percussive elements to generate a "sparser" atmosphere.

Good work :)

I liked it. The change was fine by me, enjoyable even. My ears were looking for something more sinisterer orchestration wise, as seismic1 hinted at. Nice piece 8)

@ seismic1 & Morgaxx - thanks for commenting. Back then when I recorded it I used to listen to much trap and hip hop music, I tried to incorporate these rhythms into my music. And yes, taking back rhythmic elements in the second part would have achieved more separation, which was the original intent of the track, of course.

Thanks frank1985. Pointing out to that style, I am not really sure what to recommend, as this track must be singular in terms of originality (haha).
