Sample rate converter question

Hi, thanks for Hosting AU, it's pretty nifty! I have a question about the sample rate converter mentioned in the release notes ("1.3.8 - Added sample rate converter and multiple sample rate support").
Is the sample rate converter something accessible from the user interface? How can I use it? Or is it automatically applied behind the scenes somehow if the input sample rate (which gets displayed in the top right) doesn't match the sample rate of the output device?

Yes, it's automatically and minimally applied only when input and output devices' sampling rates are different. You can check/change what sampling rates are set in Audio MIDI Setup - Audio Devices pane.
