This is a dark and evil dnb track as the title suggests. enjoy if you like this style of music or even if you don't enjoy this style of music give it a listen and hate the style even more...

Here is an updated mix.

That's a good track.

I like a bit of Tech Step. It's what I tend to make most as well when I do DnB.

Dom and Roland. Ed Rush and Optical. Bad Company. et al.

One of my Tech Step tracks got a few hundred plays on Soundcloud. Imagine that!

:hyper:

If I could make a suggestion, you might want to tag it with "Tech Step", "Future DnB" and some other stuff I forget. It might help get some more exposure.

Your track reminded me of this one by Dom and Roland:

I know this is really 90's music, but it foretold the dystopian future we now find ourselves in. It's more relevant than ever.

But yeah, good track! Could maybe lay a bit more atmospherics on it... but it's fine as it is. A good example of the genre.

EDIT:
Tag it with "Techstep" as well!

Thanks for listening and the positive feedback and the genre info. I never know what to call what I do. I am not a purist in any sense of the word, i just create whatever feels sounds good. I will look up techstep on the interwebz.

Thanks again for listening :D :tu:

Edit to add: thanks for posting that track it is massive!

You tagged your track with "Industrial".

It is characterized by a dark,[2] sci-fi mood, near-exclusive use of synthesised or sampled sound sources, influences from industrial and techno music,

I really dislike the whole genre thing, but sometimes it's useful.

My favourite DnB artists are all kind of Techstep and that's what I make, so real recognises real, as they say.

I'd send that out to Dom's label and a few others that do this kind of stuff - there is still a market for it. No idea. Ed Rush and Optical probably have a label as well. You never know, they might be able to point you in the right direction.

Dom's a cool guy. He posts on Gearslutz and the REAPER forum too. Keep an eye out for him. Pretty sure he'd at least give you the time of day. Just fire him a link.

Cool thanks for the heads up. Yeah Like I said I suck at the genre naming game. trying to get as many people to listen as possible. I added techstep and future dnb

I also don't like how music must fit into a certain genre, no matter how obscure a genre it may be. I enjoyed this track, not much more to say as the mix sounded okay this end.

I looked up techstep and found out it doesn't exist anymore and it morphed into neurofunk
