Hi Ju-X,

Thanks for this little gem: Hosting AU

I see, only of the plugins I installed myself, e.g. U-He plugins (I own them, no cracks), every AU name with a trailing "/m", albeit it works flawless, do you have a clue?

Cheers, Joris

Thank you for your question! Hosting AU puts /m to plugin name when it's "Music Effect" type. (According to Apple: An effect unit that can respond to MIDI control messages.)

So it means that you can route MIDI into the plugin (while it's not an "Instrument" type).

Other many effect plugins are not capable of MIDI (instrument plugins are almost always capable of MIDI), so /m quickly distinguish them.

It's just the name indication in the plugin list. So no loss in the performance :)
