Filter This section contains two very steep Butterworth reconstruction filters that can be used in serial mode. This is important for removing unwanted high frequencies from a up-sampled signal.
Do these noticably change the sound when you use this plugin? I'm trying the 1.1.8 demo in Maschine* and I can't hear any changes.

*Also in Reason 10 Lite btw.

It can be subtle.
Try the first preset, the 8bit22050Hz one on a drum sample and you should hear it. The noise especially should stand out.

Aaaah, with Sample Rate and/or Quality turned all the way down I can finally hear both the filters working. Very subtle indeed. :)

Yes, that's it. You have to push it a bit to hear obvious changes. The reconstruction side is sort of trying to make it sound closer back to the original sound. If you put the high eq back to 0 on that 8 bit preset then you'll hear more change to the sound again from the process.
