Silence midway through render

Hi folks,

I'm trying to render a song to wav and it gets about two thirds in and then it suddenly becomes silence. However I can see the level meters still are still active throughout the render. Any ideas what could be causing this?

I solved it. It was a midi track with biotec plugin that was the culpret. I fixed it by rendering the midi clips to a new track.
