I don't really do modern synthwave. I prefer to do things closer to how they did them in the 80s. At least I try to.
This is my latest track. There's lots of PG-8x in this.
Hope you enjoy and thanks for listening.

You nailed the style pretty well. Nice mix and production.
CrimsonWarlock aka TechnoGremlin, using Reaper and a fine selection of freeware plugins.

Thanks! I listened to 80s music pretty much exclusively for the past 2 years.crimsonwarlock wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2019 6:33 am You nailed the style pretty well. Nice mix and production.

Hmm... I think this is one of the best SW pieces I've heard in a looong time.
You nailed the vibe and sound. Production quality is excellent too imo. As much as I love heavy and fast stuff I have a real soft spot for this type of retro music too.
I'm just waiting for Van Damme to appear with his mullet and muscles.
Great work!!

I will take the Lord's name in vain, whenever I want. Hail Satan! And his little goblins too.

Thanks Vort, Wags, and Rob. I'm happy the 80s/synthwave guys like it.

Nice clean mix, you avoided making it too busy. And when the guitars came in, that made my evening.
I enjoyed it a lot. I'm searching for a criticism... hmmm, maybe the bells weren't as good as they could be.
Apart from that, loved it.

Those bells are all PG-8x. Didn't really do much to them honestly. They sounded ok to me! Thanks for the listen and glad you liked it.
